Developing a wetland geodatabase for the oil sands region in Alberta

The objective of this project is to develop a wetland geodatabase that will standardize and incorporate historical data from secondary sources that has been collected during more than 20 years of research and findings that represent the industry’s earliest attempts to build wetlands using both mine waste and stockpiled natural materials. At the same time, this project will enable standardization and archiving new information on wetland development that will be gathered within and beyond BWRAP.
